Marloo Blue trip 04.11.18

Working trip to Marloo Blue in November 2018. Lots of work to be done during this week.
First job was to remove the existing solar aray so as to replace the roof sheets on the car-port. The roof sheeting has started to rust but only on the ends of the sheets, low pitch on the roof will encourage corrosion.
Rob Pitt (A1 Solar) arrived to disconnect the existing solar panels. We moved them to one side so as to start removing the existing roof sheets and replace with the new as we went. All went like clockwork. Lenny was our designated roof man for the house and his job was to repair/replace a champfer board on the front gable. He then sanded back all the dutch gables and barge boards and painted same.
Once the new roof was complete on the car-port Rob started installing the up-grade to the solar system – an extra 3Kw of panels. We now have a full 5Kw system.
